Volusia ECHO Announces New 2025-2026 Grant Cycle Timeline

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Volusia County ECHO program has announced important changes for the 2025-2026 ECHO (Environmental, Cultural, Historical, and Outdoor Recreation) grant cycle. The new schedule, which includes revised dates for the mandatory workshop and application deadlines, was reviewed during the April 10 ECHO Advisory Committee meeting.

Key date changes for the upcoming grant cycle include:

Mandatory Workshop: Now scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. (previously September 25, 2025)

Technical Completeness Application Deadline: Now Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. (previously November 6, 2025)

Final Grant Application Deadline: Now Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. (previously December 11, 2025)

The mandatory workshop will be available both in-person and virtually at the Volusia County Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, County Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 123 W. Indiana Ave., DeLand.

The complete 2025-2026 ECHO calendar is available on the county website at www.volusia.org/echo. Dates may be adjusted throughout the year as needed, and applicants are encouraged to check the website regularly for updates.

The Volusia ECHO program provides grants funds to finance acquisition, restoration, construction or improvement of projects to be used for environmental, cultural, historical and outdoor recreational purposes for public use.
